7.5 x 9.5 Silver Gelatin RC Print
Matted for 12x12 frame
On my last trip to Tokyo, I would wait at this train station every morning before heading into the city center. The awning over the tracks made it darker than it should be in the daytime, but it also directed my attention to the end of the tunnel. The contrast between light and dark made me quite calm. This is one of my favorite images of the trip.

The frame above is a digital scan of the hand-developed negative. The print that you will receive is a hand-made silver gelatin print made in my home darkroom.
Silver Gelatin Prints are hand printed in my home darkroom from hand-developed Negatives.
Inkjet prints are printed on Canon Glossy Photo Paper with a Canon Pixma PRO printer.
Resin Coated or RC prints are printed on Ilford RC Paper. RC paper has a reflective surface similar to a standard inkjet. RC prints are printed with traditional darkroom techniques by activating silver in the paper.
Fiber Prints are silver gelatin prints on Ilford Matte Fiber paper. Fiber paper creates much more depth in the blacks bringing the image to life. Fiber paper is my preferred paper. It allows me to show you the image the way I see it in my mind.
