A few years ago my family gave me a stack of home movies from the 50’s and 60’s, some of which had not been seen in decades. Initially planning to scan and return the Super 8 film, I saw stories coming through the negatives. Stories that I had heard audibly, but never seen in person. Looping the footage over itself, allowed me to explore their past and my present. A present that grants me the opportunity to create stories from their human experience.
